Story Beats

 Before: 

    1. Poor Miller tells the king that his daughter can spin straw into gold.

    2. Daughter is brought into a room to spin the straw into gold, king threatens her life. She is unable to do it. Rumplestiltskin offers to do it in exchange for her necklace. 

    3. King is please to see the miller's daughter spun the straw into gold but he grows greedy and moves  her into a bigger room full of straw and threatens her life again. Rumplestiltskin shows up again and the miller's daughter offers her necklace to the tiny man. 

    4. The miller's daughter is brought into a even larger room  and is told by the king that if she finishes spinning all the straw into gold he'll marry her. Rumplestiltskin offers his help to the miller's        daughter in exchange for her firstborn child with the king. 

    5. The miller's daughter marries the king and when she has her first child Rumplestiltskin comes to collect her reward but she doesn't agree. He tells her if she doesn't guess his name within 3 days she has to give the baby to him. He starts celebrating in the middle of the night outside his home in front of a fire. Someone over hears him say his name. (Mountain at the end of the forest, little house, fire burning, little man jumping.)

After:

    6. Messenger tells the queen what he saw and heard. Rumplestiltskin asks the queen if she figured             out his name on the 3rd day.

    7. The queen pretends she doesn't know and guesses other names.

    8. She guesses his name right, "Rumpelstiltskin." 

    9. He is in shock and yells, "The devil has told you that." 

    10. He cries and plunges his right foot deep into the earth that his whole left went in. He pulls his left leg so hard with both hands that he tore himself in half. (Why??!)
